Manufactured in1953 by Balcombe Ltd. of London this 5 valve superhet receiver had quite a modern cabinet design for its time escaping the regular square box shape of earlier models. This radio featured 3 reception wavebands, medium long and short selected by means of a side rotary switch knob plus a forth position for gram selection. It also had a few turns of aerial reception wire mounted inside the cabinet back.
