This 4 valve portable radio was manufactured in London in 1956 by EverReady Ltd. The suitcase style wooden cabinet is covered with a red and grey Rexine material. This radio featured 2 reception wavebands medium and long wave. A 3way rotary switch selects the waveband and on/off. A ferrite rod aerial is fitted inside for MW & LW reception. A single combined HT 90v LT 1.5v HT/LT Ever Ready battery type B141 was used to power the set.
