This 5-valve receiver manufactured by Ekco was first introduced in 1953. Housed in a dark walnut veneered wooden cabinet it was able to tune both the medium, long and short wavebands. Extension loudspeaker and external aerial connection sockets plus tape and gram sockets are provided on the rear of the set.
The retail-selling price was £19.12s.9d including tax when it was first released in 1953.
