Ekco manufactured this 6 Valve Superhet receiver in 1955. Housed in a wooden walnut veneered cabinet. This set could receive on the medium, long and VHF wavebands selected by means of a rotary wave change switch mounted on the RH side of the cabinet. Also featured was a tuning level indicator light. Internal aerials for FM and AM signals were also fitted as well as sockets on the rear for external aerial connections.
The retail-selling price was £19.16s.2d.including purchase tax.
