This 6 valve transportable radio was manufactured in 1954 by Ferranti Ltd. The wooden cabinet is covered with a blue and cream Rexine material. This radio featured 2 reception wavebands medium and long wave selected by means of a rotary switch knob. A rotary battery-off mains switch also selected power mode AC/DC. On DC two batteries were required to power this set a (B107) 90Volt H.T. and an (All-Dry 14) 1.5Volt L.T.
