HMV manufactured this 5-valve superhet receiver in 1958. Housed in a veneered wooden cabinet. This radio featured 3 reception wavebands, medium long and VHF selected by means of a piano key switch. An internal ferrite rod aerial provided reception on MW and LW plus a dipole aerial was also fitted for VHF/FM. Extension sockets at the rear were provided for gram, extension speaker, and external aerial and earth connections.
The retail-selling price was £18.3s.11d plus purchase tax.
