This 5 Valve AC mains superhet table model was manufactured by Murphy in 1938. The cabinet surface is covered in a light French walnut veneer. This radio featured 3 reception wavebands, medium, long and shortwave selected by means of a rotary switch. Extension sockets at the rear were provided for gram pick-up, speaker, aerial and earth connections.
